🚀 2010 – Founding & Production start in Lingen (Ems)
emco electroroller is founded – as a pioneer of electromobility with its own production facility in Lingen, northern Germany.
✅ 2012 – KBA type approvals & Quality control
All e-scooters are produced in accordance with the standards of the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) – for maximum safety and the quality seal. “Engineered in Germany”.
⚡ 2022 – Acquisition by the TPG Group
A strategic milestone: emco will be part of the TPG (Electro Mobility Company) – thus setting the course for international growth and technological development.
🔧 2023 – Expansion of the service area & 2nd Life battery program
emco established in-house battery repairs and leads the sustainable “2nd Life” program for batteries. At the same time, the service area is being strengthened – with faster spare parts supply and personal advice.
🔄 2024 – Acquisition of the brand <tc>unu</tc>
Through the integration of unu expanded Emco its portfolio to include design-oriented, smart e-scooters – and is positioning itself even more broadly in the urban e-mobility market.
🔄 2025 – Acquisition of the brand <tc>Dreems</tc> & <tc>Kumpan</tc>
emco starts the year with two new brands
